This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Electrical Inspector based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and supervising electrical installations on construction projects to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Day‑to‑day tasks include reviewing electrical shop drawings and material submittals, conducting on‑site inspections for power, lighting, grounding, and low‑current systems, monitoring contractor performance, and verifying adherence to safety and quality requirements. The role also involves preparing daily inspection reports, identifying and resolving non‑conformities, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and supporting project teams to ensure timely and compliant completion of electrical works.
-Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
-6+ years of professional experience in electrical inspection or supervision within the construction or consulting industry (KSA experience preferred)
-Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low‑current systems
-Familiarity with Saudi Building Codes, IEC, NFPA, and local authority (SEC, Civil Defense) requirements
-Proven ability to review electrical drawings, material submittals, and inspection requests (IRs)
-Experience with testing, commissioning, and quality control procedures
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and inspection reporting tools
-Good command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage
-Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
-Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality assurance
