The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, reviewing, and supervising electrical engineering activities in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes. The role includes supporting construction, commissioning, and maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality electrical systems across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Design
- Prepare and review electrical engineering deliverables including single-line diagrams, load schedules, grounding layouts, cable routing, and equipment specifications.
- Ensure all designs comply with Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), and Aramco Typical Specifications (SATIP/SATR).
- Perform technical evaluations (TBE) for vendor equipment such as transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, MCCs, and motors.
- Conduct short-circuit, load flow, and protection coordination studies (ETAP or equivalent).
2. Project Coordination
- Interface with Aramco engineering teams, project management, vendors, and construction contractors.
- Participate in design reviews: 30%/60%/90%, Model Reviews, HAZOP, SIL, and ensure electrical discipline issues are resolved.
- Support procurement activities and verify vendor compliance with Aramco requirements.
3. Construction Support
- Review and approve electrical construction drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Provide site technical support to resolve construction queries (RFI, TQ, NCR).
- Monitor installation of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, lighting systems, grounding, and cabling.
4. Testing & Commissioning
- Prepare and review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures following SATIP and SATR requirements.
- Oversee FAT, SAT, functional tests, and energization activities.
- Ensure all electrical systems are safely commissioned and handed over to operations.
5. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to Aramco safety standards, including LOTO, electrical isolation, arc flash protection, and hazardous area classification (IEC/NEC).
- Promote safe work practices and participate in safety audits and toolbox talks.
