Job summary

A leading industrial equipment distributor in Al Khobar is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. You will prepare and finalize designs, establish project documentation, and work on CAD drawings. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in the power generation industry, strong communication skills in English and Arabic, and knowledge of relevant standards and design software. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficient design practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as Electrical Engineer, with 5 years in the power generations industry.
• Experience in designing and developing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual design and finalize it with the Lead Electrical Design Engineer.
• Establish list of drawings/documents according to project requirements.
• Prepare electrical design drawings with CAD.
• Review design drawings and make necessary corrections.
• Create electrical item’s part numbers and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures.

Skills

Good communication skills in English / Arabic

Working knowledge of quality systems and standards

Knowledge of EPLAN design software

Knowledge of international standards i.e. NFPA IEC, NEC

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
