The Esports team plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering exceptional esports products that resonate with the community and elevate the esports experience.

As a Player Manager, you will be part of our Global Game Ecosystems team, responsible for enhancing the gaming experience via global events, digital products, and player/team relations. You will act as a key liaison between EFG and our teams & players.

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with global and regional EFG teams to align on directives within the Player Manager department
  • Serve as the main contact point for teams & players around events
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with players and teams
  • Provide timely information to players and teams
  • Gather and distribute information and assets to relevant departments
  • Coordinate logistics such as travel and accommodation with other departments
  • Create schedules in cooperation with other teams for obligations
  • Ensure an excellent experience from arrival to departure
  • Assist players and teams beyond tournament topics
  • Support partners and stakeholders requiring access to players
  • Ensure teams and players meet their obligations
  • Manage and execute all player-related tasks proactively
  • Maintain task management systems and keep all stakeholders informed
  • Continuously seek improvements in player and team event aspects
  • Develop new processes to ensure smooth workflows
  • Support global freelancers supporting our tournaments
  • Proactively resolve roadblocks, independently or with colleagues
  • Participate in event setup and pack-down activities
What you need:
  • Experience in Hospitality, Event Management, or related fields within tech, gaming, sports, or entertainment
  • Service-oriented with a friendly, welcoming attitude
  • Good understanding of esports titles, communities, and tournament formats
  • Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across various regions and levels
  • High emotional intelligence, professionalism, diplomacy, and integrity
