Job description

• Lead the overall tendering process from initial enquiry to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards.
• Develop and implement tendering strategies in line with company objectives to maximize winning potential.
• Coordinate with technical, estimating, planning, procurement, and legal teams to develop competitive and compliant proposals.
• Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial submissions including risk analysis, value engineering, and bid clarifications.
• Maintain up-to-date market intelligence regarding current and upcoming projects, competitors, pricing trends, and client expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, government agencies, and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the tendering team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Represent the company in high-level bid meetings, negotiations, and presentations.
• Review contract terms and conditions, highlighting risks and suggesting mitigation strategies.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Minimum 25 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, and pre-contracts within the construction industry, preferably with major contractors.

Proven experience with large-scale infrastructure, civil, or building projects in Saudi Arabia.

Strong knowledge of Saudi market dynamics, regulations, and key clients (e.g., NEOM, Aramco, PIF projects).

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and decision-making ability.

Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
