Direct Reporting Line: Senior Manager Alliance Partners
Location: Riyadh, KSA
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- Represent the assigned account(s) and category(s) internally as an ‘ambassador’ towards all functions and vice versa, and help manage all interfaces.
- Execute the GTM (Go to Market) Strategy for the Alliance Partners and play a major role in achieving WHS excellence in GCC Markets.
- Develop and implement the overall strategy for the account portfolio based on global and market strategies, jointly with the Senior KAM, and obtain sign-off from the Director KA.
- Ensure the KA organization applies adidas Group standards and best practices in daily work.
- Achieve the best possible Net Sales results by setting clear targets, tracking results, analyzing risks, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Build Strategic Account Plans and Account Marketing Plans, and present them to the Senior Manager Alliance.
- Measure progress on KPIs and monitor all reports.
- Monitor and report on customer and competitor sell-through activities, and propose/initiate actions.
- Manage the account during sell-in meetings (range presentation) in collaboration with Brand, and agree on sell-out support to grow the accounts.
- Continuously monitor sell-out and the order book, ensure on-time deliveries, proper replenishment, and link account marketing activation for better in-store sell-out.
- Formulate trade investments (TI), discuss with accounts, and track performance against TI buckets.
- Provide factual analysis, trends, and market needs to recommend commercial opportunities to the Alliance Partner Senior Manager and Director.
- Analyze sales data, sell-through, product replenishment, and store-by-store performance where relevant.
- Adhere to Global standards in collaboration with support functions like customer service, trade marketing, account marketing, visual merchandising, and training, ensuring process compliance.
- Visit customers and relevant markets/doors, conduct store audits, and ensure continuous improvement of audit results.
- Ensure customer compliance with wholesale agreements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data for strategic decision-making.
- Proven experience in planning, selling, and negotiating.
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation).
- Cross-functional experience across marketing and sales.
- Understanding of the GCC retail landscape.
- Ability to understand and implement strategies.
- University degree relevant to industry experience.
- Minimum 4 years of sales experience in large organizations, preferably in sports, fashion, or FMCG sectors.
- Exposure to Sports, Marketing, Supply Chain.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
