The BIM Senior Manager - Design Engineering is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of BIM software across projects, ensuring process standardization, coordination, and quality control.
The role involves developing effective BIM management strategies, coordinating with internal and external project teams, and aligning with project schedules, including critical milestones.
They will facilitate digital project execution following NEOM standards, guidelines, and practices, while also training staff, suggesting technical solutions, and ensuring team alignment with project goals and compliance regulations.
Requirements
- A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience is preferred.
- Oversee BIM software implementation, process standardization, coordination, and quality control across projects.
- Develop BIM management strategies and coordinate with project teams to align with schedules and milestones.
- Ensure digital project execution adheres to NEOM standards, providing staff training and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with NEOM sectors and stakeholders for effective project/BIM/digital information management.
- Perform duties professionally, supporting project timelines and objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide BIM support, including software, hardware, network, and troubleshooting.
- Manage BIM implementation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Lead digital technology adoption within the project team.
- Oversee data management and BIM software activities to meet project needs and standards.
- Manage risks strategically within the BIM domain.
- Effectively allocate resources and oversee procurement related to BIM.
- Report on BIM implementation status, data management, software needs, and workflow integration.
Experience:
- Over 15 years in BIM coordination/management within design, engineering, and construction industries.
- Preference for GCC experience.
- Experience in design, engineering, and project management.
Essential Skills:
- Proven leadership in BIM management for major contractors, consultants, or developers.
- Proficiency in BIM software like Revit, Rhino, and other tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
