The Document Manager will lead the document control function, implementing systems and processes to manage project documents efficiently. The role requires strong experience in document management for large-scale infrastructure projects, attention to detail, and knowledge of international document control standards.

The project involves extensive land development, including civil infrastructure, utilities, and urban facilities. The Document Manager will oversee all aspects of document control and management, ensuring accurate, organized, and accessible project documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in document management or document control on large-scale land development or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in GCC countries, preferably Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong knowledge of document control standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19650, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in document management software (SharePoint, Aconex, ProjectWise, or equivalent).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures and systems for the project.
  • Ensure all project documentation (drawings, reports, correspondence, contracts, and technical documents) is accurate, complete, and properly archived.
  • Coordinate with design, civil, MEP, and project management teams to collect, review, and distribute documents.
  • Manage document workflows, approvals, and revisions to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Maintain a centralized document repository and ensure version control.
  • Support audit and regulatory requirements by providing timely access to project documentation.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards on document status, updates, and compliance for senior management.
  • Mentor and guide junior document control staff and administrators.
