We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, within the heavy industry and metallurgy sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and controlling all documentation processes, ensuring that all documents are accurate, accessible, and compliant with company standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of document management systems and supporting project teams in their documentation needs. This position requires a proactive approach to problem‑solving and excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain a systematic documentation process to ensure all project documents are correctly filed and easily retrievable.
  2. Review and verify incoming documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that they meet company and industry standards.
  3. Coordinate with project teams to gather and manage documentation requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Implement and maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS) to streamline document control processes.
  5. Train and support staff in the use of document management systems and procedures.
  6. Monitor and report on document control metrics to ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of document control policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  8. Manage the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure proper version control.
  9. Participate in audits and reviews to ensure adherence to documentation standards and procedures.
  10. Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing reports and maintaining records of document control activities.
