Lead all PR and media efforts to strengthen the hotel's image and support the Shangri-La brand.
Responsibilities include mainly PR plus some advertising / collateral support (ratio varies by hotel). Reports to the DOSM and ensures consistent, positive communication across all channels.
Develop and execute the annual communications plan in alignment with the hotel's strategy and Shangri-La brand standards.
Manage media relationships, secure positive press coverage, prepare press releases, and coordinate media visits and crisis communications.
Serve as spokesperson when needed, prepare spokespeople, and maintain updated press kits and key messages.
Oversee advertising campaigns, creative production, and photography to ensure brand consistency and effective budget use.
Supervise the creation of printed and digital collateral and direct marketing materials across all departments.
Develop social media strategies, manage content and engagement, and ensure consistent brand communication online.
Build strategic partnerships, represent the hotel at industry events, and support PR training for internal teams.
