A prominent hotel chain in the Makkah Region is seeking a Director of Business Development to enhance property sales opportunities and manage MICE business. This role involves implementing sales strategies, leading customer relationship management, and collaborating with the Area Sales Office. A degree in sales and experience in the hotel industry is required, along with excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

As a Director of Business Development / Business Development Manager you are responsible to implement all sales plans, activities and maximize property’s business opportunities. You are also responsible to lead the property's MICE business and be supportive in the implementation of the segment sales strategy and achieve segment revenue goals, overall property goals and guest satisfaction.
The role is the main link between the property and Area Sales Office and you conduct all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
• You should be holding a degree in sales and minimum two years of postgraduate work experience, ideally within the hotel industry.
• Computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication skills, written and oral.
• Proficiency in English is essential, and any additional language skills will be an asset.
• Nationally and internationally mobile.
