About the job: Director - EPM Service Line
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the annual KSA EPM Service Line budget targets: Revenue, Gross Margin, Contribution, EBITDA, Operating Profit, and positive cash flow.
- Lead the KSA EPM Service Line budget and business plan process in collaboration with the East Region Leadership Team.
- Provide regular internal communications on business performance and updates to all KSA staff in collaboration with the East Region Leadership Team.
- Resolve performance issues within the region with the East EVP and East Region Leadership Team to achieve business plan objectives.
- Identify potential clients and market areas for the company's EPM service lines in KSA.
- Work directly with Regional Head of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, including supporting sales opportunities, proposal and tender submissions, and strategic business development plans.
- Coordinate business development activities among stakeholders, support teams, and regional management.
- Manage the KSA EPM Service Line team to ensure effective service delivery to clients.
- Assess project performance regularly, identify corrective actions, and develop project and service line opportunities.
- Gather client feedback on project delivery to improve standards, maximize gross margin, and enhance client satisfaction.
- Promote sharing of best practices through the Engineering Body of Knowledge (EBOK) and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards as per contractual commitments.
- Manage relationships with strategic KSA EPM clients.
- Proactively manage staff utilization and overhead costs within budget targets.
- Uphold company values to maintain a safe, rewarding, and productive working environment.
- Align with and report on Group policies and procedures across various domains including legal, financial, HR, QHSE, and IT.
- Support EVP in corporate governance, risk reporting, and decision-making.
- Provide local leadership to engage and include staff in the company's team.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Lead all engineering disciplines, ensuring competency, tools, procedures, and resources are adequate.
- Oversee recruitment, performance monitoring, and resource management of engineering personnel, fostering their technical and methodological development.
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- Over 20 years of work experience.
- More than 5 years of successful leadership of an engineering delivery team, preferably for a Tier 1/Tier 2 engineering consultancy.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Saudi Aramco.
- Experience in P&L management and business development is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Regional expertise in KSA engineering consultancy, with experience working with NOCs, IOCs, and EPC clients.
- Essential: Upstream and Midstream experience; Downstream and Renewable energy project experience is a plus.
- Additional advantage: Engineering design and project management experience in study, FEED, and detailed design projects.
- Strong people management skills, strategic planning, resource allocation, and motivational leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of client service principles, quality standards, and client satisfaction evaluation.
- Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively.
- Collaborative approach to team building and maintaining a positive culture.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
