JOB TITLE: Digital Payments Specialist

TERM: 9 months (with potentialextension)

CLIENT LOCATION: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site / in clientoffices)

DIVISION: FinTech Program Office

REPORTS TO: Chief FinTech Officer

RELEVANTEXPERIENCE

  1. 10+ years in fintech, digital payments, or banking project delivery
  2. Experience with Banking as a Service (BaaS), card programs, or mobile wallet launches preferred

MANDATORYREQUIREMENTS**

  1. Native Arabic speaker with fluent English
  2. Deep familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations (SAMA, KYC/AML)
  3. Immediate availability for full-time Riyadh-based role
  4. Strong strategic and hands-on delivery capability

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

To lead the design, development, and launch of digital wallet a flagship fintech product that will redefineclients digital wallet value proposition. This role ensures operational readiness and commercial success byaligning internal teams and external partners under a unified delivery roadmap. Covering full-cycle delivery,a strategic card-based cash back product developed under a BaaS model. This will transform thedigital wallet from a loyalty platform into a fintech-enabled service provider, embedding financial servicesinto its ecosystem.

Scope & Key Activities

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Develop and manage the client project plan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines
  2. Lead cross-functional execution across finance, IT, marketing, marketplace, and support teams
  3. Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
  4. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards
  5. Deliver a fully operational, scalable, and compliant clients digital wallet platform ready for post-project handover
  6. Finance Operations & Controls - Monitor the finance teams implementation of cashback workflows, wallet liability tracking, reconciliation, and monthly reporting to ensure financial accuracy and audit readiness.
  7. Marketplace & Merchant Monetization - Oversee the merchant onboarding process and monetization model rollout, ensuring teams execute segmentation, billing, and subscription strategies effectively.
  8. Growth Marketing Execution - Coordinate marketing to ensure timely execution of launch campaigns, brand assets, and influencer activations that align with user acquisition goals.
  9. Customer Success & Support Readiness - Ensure the support team develops and tests user and merchant support journeys, SOPs, and escalation flows in preparation for launch.
  10. IT Governance & Regulatory Compliance -Supervise the integration of SNBs SDK and ensure IT teams meet SAMA compliance standards and prepare audit documentation.
  11. Data Infrastructure & Analytics- Guide the data team in defining schemas, building dashboards, and ensuring data readiness for performance tracking and reporting.
  12. Product-Led Growth & Optimization- Track product performance metrics and ensure the product team iterates on features and flows to drive user activation, retention, and merchant impact.

KPIs

  • % of target merchants onboarded and monetized
  • User acquisition and activation metrics post-launch
  • Operational readiness (e.g., reconciliation accuracy, support SLAs)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Deep understanding of digital payments, card systems, and embedded finance
  • Familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations and SAMA compliance frameworks
  • Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
  • Experience with BI tools, data modeling, and KPI tracking
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA preferred)
