Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Italian dishes, maintaining consistency and quality standards
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and coordinating with other sections
  • Ensure proper food storage, handling, and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies for your section
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Participate in menu planning and recipe development to enhance our Italian offerings
  • Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service hours
Qualifications
  • Saudi nationality is required for this position
  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar role within Italian cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution (preferred)
  • Current food safety certification
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in using various kitchen equipment
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with kitchen and front‑of‑house staff
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
  • Fluency in Arabic; English language skills are a plus
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
