We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our growing team in the construction sector.

As a DPO, you will lead our data privacy and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with GDPR, Saudi data protection laws, and industry-specific regulations. You will play a key role in protecting employee, client, and project data across all operational areas.

Location: Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi data protection regulations and GDPR
  • Develop and enforce data privacy policies and procedures
  • Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
  • Train staff on data privacy practices
  • Respond to data subject access requests (DSARs)
  • Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities
  • Monitor and report data breaches, and coordinate incident response
  • Maintain data processing records across departments (HR, legal, IT, etc.)
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate privacy into operations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Proven experience in data privacy or compliance (preferably in construction or industrial sectors)
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and Saudi data protection regulations
  • Excellent understanding of IT security and data lifecycle in project environments
  • Preferred certifications: CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent
