Position Overview

As a Data Architect at Master-Works, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture that supports our organization’s goals. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure the effective storage, retrieval, and analysis of data, thus enabling data‑driven decision‑making.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, databases, and data warehouses to support business applications and analytics
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure the timely and accurate movement of data
• Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity
• Optimize database performance, conduct capacity planning, and monitor system health
• Implement data security protocols to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulations

Key Deliverables

• Develop robust data architecture documentation and metadata repositories
• Create and manage data pipelines that facilitate data access for analytics and reporting
• Lead efforts to modernize the data infrastructure, including integration with cloud‑based services
• Provide technical guidance and support to data analysts and scientists in utilizing data effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a related role
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques
• Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
