Overview
Cigna Worldwide Insurance Company, KSA, is looking to appoint a Data & Analytics Manager based in Riyadh to support the development of the local D&A function.
As the Data & Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for supervision of the local D&A team, supporting the transition of business reporting and data processes to local systems, and developing data analytics and business reporting for multiple business functions. This role is crucial in driving the company's digital transformation and ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data across various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Ensure continuous professional development of the D&A team.
- Support the Transition to Localized Systems:
- Support the migration of data-dependent processes and business reporting to new local systems, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Data Architecture, Governance and Management:
- Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Ensure data structures support regulatory, operational, and analytical reporting needs.
- Implement and maintain data governance and management strategies to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Data Extraction and Reconciliation:
- Oversee the extraction and reconciliation of data from various systems to ensure its availability and accuracy for key functions including actuarial, underwriting and finance.
- Reporting Support:
- Develop and maintain reporting capabilities required by various functions, including Compliance, Operations, Sales and Client Management, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Lead the development of automated reporting pipelines using enterprise BI tools.
- Drive the transition from manual to automated reporting processes, ensuring data quality and reconciliation with source systems.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define data integration and transformation requirements.
- Work closely with various departments, Operations and Customer Service, to ensure data needs are met and to support the development of analytics solutions.
- Innovation and Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to leverage new tools and technologies to enhance data management and reporting processes.
Target Profiles & Capabilities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Undergraduate qualification in Mathematics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 6-10 years of Data & Analytics experience, preferably within the Saudi Arabian medical insurance industry, with at least 3-5 years in a management role
Personal Profile:
- Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in data and analytics, with a strong background in data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in analytic platforms and business intelligence software such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, SQL, Python, and/or R.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in building and implementing data models, business dashboards, and reports.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to various stakeholders.
- Collaboration:
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
