Overview

Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist (Database Activity Monitoring). This role will be a dedicated onsite resource embedded within the client’s environment, responsible for managing and optimizing Imperva Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) across multiple database platforms in production. This role includes deploying and tuning agents, configuring and maintaining security policies, integrating DAM alerts with SIEM solutions, and ensuring full alignment with regulatory and compliance standards. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the specialist will collaborate closely with the client’s internal teams to strengthen database security posture, enhance visibility, and support ongoing audit readiness initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure Imperva DAM agents on databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
  • Design, implement, and tune database monitoring policies and alerts based on audit and security requirements.
  • Monitor database activity to detect unauthorized access, policy violations, and anomalies.
  • Generate and deliver audit and compliance reports aligned with standards like SOX, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
  • Ensure full compliance with Imperva DAM configurations.
  • Integrate DAM alerts with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
  • Perform regular health checks, agent upgrades, and system maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to DAM policies, agents, and system performance.
  • Coordinate with DBAs, InfoSec, and compliance teams to ensure effective database security.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, rules, incidents, and operational procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity preferably with DAM solutions.
  • Experience in database activity monitoring, policy creation, and alert tuning.
  • Experience in Database administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Experience integrating DAM with SIEM solutions like Splunk or QRadar
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to set the technical direction of the project and control it.
