We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's information systems and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical data. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect our networks and systems from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, risk management, and incident response, along with a passion for staying ahead of emerging threats in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.
  2. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  3. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configurations of systems and applications, and provide guidance on security best practices.
  5. Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and recommend improvements to existing security measures.
  6. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
  7. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts for management review.
  8. Work with external vendors and partners to assess and enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
  9. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the organization can respond effectively to security breaches.
  10. Assist in compliance audits and ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
Preferred Candidate
  1. Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role, with a deep understanding of security protocols and technologies.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar are highly desirable.
  5. Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  7. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security issues.
  8. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST.
  9. Passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
  10. Ability to adapt to changing technologies and a fast-paced work environment.
