We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to join our healthcare team in Abha, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This position requires a thorough understanding of sterilization techniques, infection control protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The CSSD Technician will collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure that all instruments are properly processed and available for use during procedures. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established protocols and guidelines.
 - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of sterilization equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
 - Monitor sterilization cycles and maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and outcomes.
 - Implement infection control measures and adhere to safety regulations to minimize risks in the operating room.
 - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of instruments for scheduled procedures.
 - Assist in training new staff and provide guidance on best practices in sterilization and instrument handling.
 - Perform inventory management of surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
 - Investigate and report any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies in sterilization results.
 - Stay current with advancements in sterilization technologies and participate in continuing education opportunities.
