We are seeking a skilled and experienced CS Multi Welder to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and safety of our operations by performing high-quality welding on carbon steel materials. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various welding techniques and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The CS Multi Welder will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining welding equipment, and adhering to safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform welding operations on carbon steel components using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  2. Interpret and analyze engineering drawings and specifications to execute welding tasks accurately.
  3. Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  4. Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  7. Document and report welding activities, including any defects or issues encountered during operations.
  8. Train and mentor junior welders, sharing best practices and techniques to enhance team performance.
  9. Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on safety practices and procedures.
  10. Assist in the preparation of materials and tools required for welding tasks, ensuring readiness for operations.
Preferred Candidate
  1. Proven experience as a multi welder in the oil and gas industry, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  2. Certification in welding from a recognized institution, demonstrating proficiency in multiple welding techniques.
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues effectively.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  6. Willingness to work in challenging environments, including offshore and remote locations.
  7. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of welding tasks.
  8. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding operations.
  9. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by project demands.
  10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Skills
  • Having 7 to 10 years of welding experience inside & outside the country.
  • Able to read & understand the WPS/PQR.
  • Able to understand the drawings.
  • Valid CS multi or CS SMAW welding cards with Pre qualification reports.
  • Updated CV.
  • Speaking & understand the English language.
