Job description
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Credit Control Executive is responsible to support the credit control function by monitoring collection process with customers and sales force, reviewing debtors in order to minimise financial risk and secure the financial position of Jotun in accordance with Jotun’s business strategy. This position is based at Jeddah and reports to the Credit Control Manager. This position is part of our MEIA Graduate Program, which is tailor‑made for talents new to the job market. Through this program, you will accelerate your career through personal development plans, local or international assignments, challenging and exciting tasks, and focused training programs over a year.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor collection, customers, and sales force activities to minimize overdue and stolen days and organise monthly credit meetings, including follow‑up with customers and sales force on their payment/settlement commitments.
  • Provide documentation for legal recovery processes and assist in organising monthly credit meetings with the sales force to minimize the company’s credit risk.
  • Analyse financial information and set credit risk categories and credit limits, and authorise the release of orders on hold to ensure bad debts are kept to a minimum and cash is collected in accordance with the Jotun credit policy.
  • Monitor and control debts within the agreed credit term to customers to reduce the company risk exposure and provide the analysis reports to the management team to make right decisions.
  • Monitor the credit limits and payment trends of various customers by reviewing periodic reports to mitigate exposure to potential bad debts and ensure account receivables’ security by reviewing the Account receivables confirmation with each customer.

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 1‑3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, both verbally and written.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
