Job description

Foreground is partnering with a global experiential agency to appoint a visionary and culturally attuned Creative Director, based in Riyadh. This role will serve as the creative anchor for the agency’s work in Saudi Arabia, translating strategy into experience, briefs into emotion, and cultural context into globally resonant creative platforms.

Reporting to the Country Director and collaborating closely with the Strategy and Production teams, the Creative Director will lead the agency’s response to high-profile pitches and live projects, from national celebrations and mega-events to brand launches and public space activations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative development process from conceptual thinking to pitch articulation to on-ground execution.
  • Champion localized creative ideation that aligns with Saudi culture, audience behaviors, and government messaging sensitivities.
  • Oversee the creative team (copy, design, content, spatial design), ensuring consistent standards and effective collaboration.
  • Present confidently to senior clients, giga-project stakeholders, and government decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with strategy and production leads to ensure ideas are both creatively powerful and operationally executable.
  • Curate and manage external creative partners, freelancers, and agencies when needed.
Ideal Profile
  • 12+ years in creative leadership roles within events, brand experience, or integrated communications agencies.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing major Saudi and regional activations, festivals, or cultural events.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic fluency preferred and culturally critical.
  • Able to shift between big-idea thinking and hands-on creative direction across all formats, spatial, digital, content, and narrative.
