  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, new product launches, and partnerships.

2. Costing Framework Development
  • Design activity-based costing (ABC) models and margin analyses for events, hospitality operations, and music products (albums, rights, IP).

  • Implement standardized cost allocation methodologies across business units to ensure comparability and transparency.

  • Work closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to analyze and control direct and indirect costs.

  • Develop and maintain unit cost databases, including benchmarks for F&B items, event production elements, and music catalog production costs.

3. Pricing Management
  • Build pricing models and elasticity analyses to optimize ticket pricing, sponsorship packages, venue pricing, and music IP valuations.

  • Lead competitor benchmarking and market intelligence to ensure MDLBEAST remains competitive while maintaining premium positioning.

  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and product teams to define pricing strategies for festivals, venue offerings, and music catalog sales.

  • Evaluate discounting strategies, dynamic pricing models, and promotional offers, assessing their profitability and ROI.

4. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for revenue and COGS across business lines.

  • Develop profitability dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance by event, venue, artist, and product.

  • Identify and recommend cost optimization and pricing improvement initiatives to enhance EBITDA margins.

  • Partner with FP&A and data analytics teams to automate costing and pricing models for real-time decision-making.

5. Governance & Systems
  • Establish clear policies, processes, and approval matrices for pricing and costing decisions.

  • Work with finance systems and data teams to integrate costing and pricing modules into ERP or BI tools.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Professional certifications (CMA, CPA, CFA) are a plus.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in costing, pricing, or financial analysis, ideally in entertainment, hospitality, FMCG, or media industries.

  • Proven track record of building or managing pricing frameworks for multi-business or multi-product organizations.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

  • Strong commercial and strategic mindset with the ability to balance creativity and profitability.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of partnering with creative, commercial, and operational leaders.

Key Competencies
  • Strategic Financial Thinking: Ability to translate financial data into actionable commercial insights.

  • Analytical Rigor: Data‑driven approach with comfort in scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.

  • Collaboration: Works cross‑functionally with business heads and creative teams.

  • Innovation: Passion for integrating analytics, creativity, and technology in pricing decisions.

  • Accountability: Takes ownership of profitability outcomes across all verticals.
