Responsibilities
  • Ensure policies and procedures governing activities of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) are current and meet local regulatory expectations.
  • Advise the Strategic Advisory and Restructuring teams in Saudi Arabia in their execution activities and provide independent oversight of the personnel conducting activity on behalf of PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia).
  • Facilitate regulatory interactions and regulatory reporting with the Capital Market Authority ("CMA"), and other relevant governmental bodies.
  • Monitor licensing and registration requirements for PJT Partners (Saudi Arabia) personnel.
  • Track, assess and advise the firm in relation to regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia.
  • Provide local support for the Finance and Operations functions in the region.
  • Play a pivotal role connecting the Saudi team with colleagues in London and New York, fostering collaboration and consistency across regional and global operations.
Qualifications
  • 5 years’ experience as a compliance professional (either at a financial services firm, consultancy or regulator).
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of the rules and procedures of the CMA.
  • Familiarity with M&A, capital markets, and fund marketing services.
  • Fluent in Arabic, with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex regulatory matters and challenge constructively when needed.
  • Proven ability to work independently, while effectively collaborating with global Legal & Compliance and broader Corporate teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to effectively partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated risk and control awareness, with the ability to identify and elevate issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
