Job Purpose / Role
To build, manage and maintain relationships with corporate banking customers, through selling and cross‑selling products and services, as well as providing solutions based on client needs with the objective of achieving sales targets, while ensuring that credit quality is maintained.
Areas of Responsibility
- Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Follows the day‑to‑day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
- Builds relationships with clients that are buyers of financial services through visits to major prospects and existing customers.
- Develops a thorough understanding of customer’s organization, industry and global practices to maintain proximity to the clients and meet their banking needs and expectations.
- Identifies revenue opportunities to actively sell Corporate Banking products to corporate banking customers in order to support the sales targets.
- Maximizes product penetration and cross selling and actively seeks structured finance opportunities in‑order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective manner.
- Develops account plans in a consistent and timely manner in order to swiftly follow‑up on identified action items.
- Provides inputs and demand insights to the team for loans which are commercially viable and also meet the required market demand.
- Reviews CAs and approve them as per authority levels in order to ensure quality and completeness of all CAs before sending them to Credit for CA Review.
- Collaborates with the Credit Analytics Unit and Risk Management on an ongoing basis in order to constantly secure and enhance the quality of the credit portfolio.
- Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with preferably a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum Experience
- 4‑6 years relevant experience in the banking sector.
Language
Technical Knowledge Areas
- Knowledge in Corporate Banking products and services.
- Knowledge in client relationship planning.
- Ability in business development and planning.
