WSP is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team for the prestigious King Salman Park project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will manage all contractual and commercial aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with contract terms and minimizing risk exposure.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the contracts and commercial aspects of the construction project, ensuring all contracts are managed in accordance with terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to certify invoices from contractors and subcontractors.
  • Develop strategic responses to contractor correspondence to minimize contractual exposure.
  • Respond to contractual letters, including notices, claims, and disputes, and coordinate with legal counsel as required.
  • Review claims and Extension of Time (EOT) requests; provide recommendations on validity and merit.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met, including managing variations and change orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Provide advice and guidance to project teams on contractual matters.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all contracts and related records.
  • Stay updated on market conditions, industry trends, and best practices in contract management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or Law.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, relevant legislation, and regulations.
  • Proven track record in managing complex contracts.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Experience in PMC roles within major infrastructure or urban development projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.
