Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Contract Engineer (Aramco standards knowledge preferred) to work in our PMS project in Khafji in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role is accountable for managing Engineering/EPC contractor ensuring the works are progressing as per the signed contract. The position is based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

The role will also be involved in review of early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2) as far as procurement and contracting strategy is concerned, produced by KJO front end development department.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills)

• At least fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication, and contract writing skills including, at least seven (7) years in related contract activities for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
• Excellent knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior involvement and working knowledge of claims causes, analysis and preventive actions.
• Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient.

Qualifications

• Educated to an engineering or business degree.
