The Consumer Business Insight (CBI) Consultant is responsible for analyzing consumer behavior, market trends, and business performance to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making. The role works closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to enhance customer experience, optimize menu offerings, and strengthen brand positioning in a highly competitive food service market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consumer & Market Insights
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret consumer data from multiple sources (surveys, sales, digital platforms, loyalty programs).
    • Monitor food service industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Segment consumer base to identify growth opportunities and target groups.
  • Business Analysis & Reporting
    • Provide regular insights and dashboards on customer behavior, sales trends, and product performance.
    • Conduct pricing, promotion, and menu analysis to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
    • Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend improvements.
  • Strategic Advisory
    • Support new product launches by providing consumer‑driven insights and demand forecasts.
    • Advise operations and supply chain on consumer preferences impacting sourcing and menu availability.
    • Partner with finance and commercial teams to align customer insights with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Research & Tools
    • Design and manage customer surveys, focus groups, and market research initiatives.
    • Use advanced analytics, BI tools, and CRM data to identify patterns and predict trends.
    • Recommend and implement new tools and methodologies to improve consumer insight capabilities.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Work with cross‑functional teams (marketing, sales, operations, product development) to integrate insights into business strategies.
    • Present findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
    • Train internal teams on consumer insight frameworks and data‑driven decision‑making.
