Job Summary

Consultant in Orthopaedic Trauma and Limb Reconstruction – Location: Riyadh. Job Type: Permanent. Start Date: ASAP. Salary: GBP 10,000 – 12,000 per month.

About the Hospital

A tertiary care academic medical complex comprising two university hospitals, academic & research centres and a cardiac, oncology and diabetes centre, with extensive multi‑facility and multi‑disciplinary care. The health‑care complex includes more than 1,300 full‑time physicians, 853 residents & fellows and approximately 2,000 allied health personnel who collectively provide care to more than 1 million outpatients, admit 45,966 patients and perform around 14,000 procedures every year. Research and academic activities are strongly emphasized.

Qualifications Required

If you wish to apply for this position, you will require the following to qualify as a consultant with this institution, and as per the licensing authorities:

• 3 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
• 3 years post‑specialist qualification experience from the following countries:
  • UK – CCT
  • USA – American Board
  • Canada – Canadian Fellowship
  • Ireland – CSD/CSCST
  • Australia & New Zealand – Fellowship
  • France – DES/DESC
  • Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the SCFHS.
• Preference for those with SCFHS Consultant classification.
