Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all mechanical construction activities across multiple MEP projects to ensure timely completion, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and execution challenges
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify potential design or constructability issues and recommend effective solutions
• Lead project planning and scheduling for mechanical works, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones and budgets
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems to ensure conformance with design and regulatory requirements
• Manage procurement schedules and vendor relationships for mechanical materials and equipment to optimize project delivery
• Mentor and guide site engineers and supervisors, promoting best practices in mechanical construction and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical construction management within the MEP contracting industry
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale commercial, residential, or industrial MEP projects from inception to handover
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems design, installation, and commissioning standards
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera and familiar with AutoCAD and BIM workflows
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
• Thorough understanding of construction safety practices, quality control procedures, and local building codes
