Condition Monitoring Technician (Vibration)

KBR is looking for a Condition Monitoring Technician – will play a vital role for our project in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of machinery and equipment for KBR. This role will focus on monitoring the health of and identifying equipment with possible problems before they lead to failure. The Condition Monitoring Technician will use a range of predictive and preventive maintenance software, applications, and data collection instruments. This role is essential to preventing downtime and loss of productivity.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections using advanced multi‑channel and phase vibration signal analysis for root cause failure and machine fault troubleshooting
  • Set up and implement predictive maintenance data collection routes for vibration, infrared, lubrication, and electric motor monitoring
  • Document findings, coordinate transfer of machine repair recommendations, and action items to and from the site's computerized maintenance management system
  • Review quality of analysis performed by other technicians
Qualifications
  • Training in reliability centered maintenance
  • 8+ years of experience in vibrations and condition monitoring in a similar industry
  • Valid vibrations certification (ISO 18436) Level II & Level III
  • Certified and experienced in MLA / Ultrasound / Steam Traps / Thermographic Survey
  • Proven ability with reliability programs
  • Must be able to speak, write, & read English
  • Expertise with condition monitoring software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate Mechanical Engineer
  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment repair standards and best practices
  • 8+ years of experience in vibrations and condition monitoring in a similar industry
