Overview

We are looking for a Computer Technician who installs touchscreens in public places, performs routine maintenance, and repairs on them. Technicians can serve in both hands-on and consultation roles. In either role, the Computer Technician is a problem-solver. Due to the growing complexity of computer systems and the common need to marry disparate hardware and software components.

Our projects cover cities in Saudi Arabia, so we are looking for candidates who have strong driving skills and a valid driving license.

Responsibilities
  • Lead installation and maintenance efforts on digital advertising signage and other intersection-operated electrical equipment in the Saudi Arabia markets.
  • Set up and organize IPs appropriately.
  • Perform field repair service on digital advertising and other intersection-operated electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with existing equipment including hardware, software and network issues.
  • Determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions.
  • Install hardware, software and device drivers on standalone computers.
  • Install and configure computer networks including LAN and WAN.
  • Manage network configurations to ensure that all computers on a network can communicate effectively.
  • Test computer peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately.
  • Upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis.
  • Install and configure monitors, keyboards and printers.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Act as a technical resource in order to assist users with resolving computer issues.
  • Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software.
  • Train users on new software.
  • Analyze network problems and manage preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Explain the role of network applications and equipment to the end users.
  • Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures carried out.
Job Specification
  • Have driver license is mandatory & should be expert on driving.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and test computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
  • Install and configure computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment and associated cabling.
  • Maintain government and/or vendor-manufactured fiber optic modems, multiplexer, fiber optic/Ethernet cables & telephone systems.
  • Computer networking experience – IP, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN.
  • Experienced with electrical and communication test equipment.
  • Must be a self-starter, requiring little supervision and have good time management skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and procedures.
