Role Summary

As a Compressor Seal Specialist, you will drive aftermarket sales for compressor seals and systems. Responsibilities include selling replacement seals, spare parts, repair services, field services, system upgrades, engineering solutions, and retrofits.

  • Meet or exceed sales goals for aftermarket compressor seals and services.
  • Maintain regular communication with key customers.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer dealings, including proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, and warranty claims.
  • Educate customers on product features and applications using marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing teams.
  • Maintain organized records of reports, quotes, and updates.
  • Discuss business decisions, such as ROI, to support solution-based selling.
  • Perform physical activities like site visits and navigating facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Role
  • Sales experience with turbomachinery equipment, including compressors and seals.
  • Technical knowledge within turbomachinery, O&G, and petrochemicals industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and business writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in root cause failure analysis and communicating findings.
  • Leadership skills in meetings, setting agendas, and follow-up.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Familiarity with API standards and industries.
  • Training in sales, negotiations, and business finance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
