A leading energy solutions provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Commercial Engineer who possesses a unique blend of technical knowledge and sales skills. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical information, establishing sales strategies, and maintaining relationships with customers in the Eastern Province. Ideal candidates should have an engineering degree, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical fields, along with 3-5 years of sales engineering experience. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in both English and Arabic are required for success.
ØCommercial Engineer is a combined Technical Knowledge & Sales Skills.
ØTo have balance between knowledge and understanding of technical details of MPW-SAU products, and how to sell them in respond to client’s queries.
ØWill have site visits for assessing the scope for replacement jobs, prepared and submitted budgetary quotes for standard products/ application/ analyser and as well as maintaining good customer contacts in the region.
ØProviding technical plus application information to support sales force and customers.
ØCoordinate activities and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing, and delivery.
ØPreparing purchasing order.
ØRequisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
ØHandling and meting the agreed sales target for the financial year.
ØSearching for new clients who could benefit from MHPS products in a designated region.
ØSupport the assigned customer in sales activities and assist the customer in identifying new opportunities.
ØEstablishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers for sales.
ØNegotiating contract as required.
ØNegotiating and closingsalesby agreeing terms and conditions.
ØOffering after-salessupport services.
ØAnalyzing costs andsales.
ØPreparing reports for head office.
ØMeeting regularsalestargets.
ØMaking technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
ØProviding training and producing support material for thesalesteam.
ØComposes and types routine correspondence.
ØConducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports.
ØAccess to Saudi Aramco System and upload necessary information in accordance with the Corporate Purchase Agreement signed with Aramco.
ØTake necessary action to prepare proposal against Aramco’s needs under instruction of Commercial Manager (Communication with our subcontractors is mandatory and documentation skill is a must).
ØTake necessary action to prepare invoice against work stipulated by our company under the instruction of Commercial Manager.
ØPerform any other tasks within area of specialty as assigned.
ØWith all concerned Departments/ sections
ØEngineering Degree preferably in Industrial/Mechanical
ØLean / Six Sigma certification is preferred
ØEnglish –Speaking, Writing, & Typing
ØArabic –Speaking, Writing, & Typing
Ø3-5 Years of Sales Engineering Experience in Maintenance Service Industry.
ØHigh level of negotiation skills, contracting expertise.
ØSkill to Interpret Drawing & Data Sheet
ØKnowledge of fabrication, castings, forgings and machined components.
ØVery strong project management skills and result oriented mindset.
ØStrong background in computer based office management & ERP System
