Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector & Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both collection and accounting functions, with solid knowledge of Saudi government platforms and regulations (such as ZATCA, GOSI, Qiwa, and Etimad). The role involves managing receivables, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting compliance with local laws and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Collections
  • Follow up with clients to collect outstanding payments in a timely manner.
  • Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable and collection status.
  • Resolve payment disputes professionally and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Coordinate with legal or internal departments regarding overdue accounts.
  • Conduct client visits if required for payment follow-up (fieldwork when necessary).
Accounting
  • Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
  • Post and review journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and financial settlements.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
  • Support the preparation of VAT, Zakat, and withholding tax returns.
  • Assist in internal and external audit preparation.
  • Ability to liaise with banks for account management, monitor banking transactions, and assist in securing banking facilities and credit lines.
Government Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi accounting and tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, WHT, etc.).
  • Interact with government platforms and entities, including :
  • Etimad Platform (Government Procurement)
  • ZATCA (Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority)
  • Qiwa Platform (Labor and Employment)
  • GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance)
  • Apply and monitor internal policies in line with Saudi legal and financial frameworks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and collections, preferably in KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws and government portals.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong negotiation, follow-up, and communication skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication in.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working with government clients or government-funded projects.
  • Previous experience with Etimad platform is highly desirable.
