Job description

We’re looking for a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to help customers migrate, modernise, and secure their infrastructure, applications, and data on Microsoft Azure, laying the foundation for scalable, production‑ready AI solutions. As part of the Cloud + AI Infrastructure team, you’ll deliver engagements focused on migration, modernisation, operational excellence, and resilient architecture using frameworks like Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well‑Architected Framework (WAF).

You will:
  • Leverage repeatable IP and execution engines for critical milestones.
  • Ensure infrastructure, application, and database readiness for AI workloads.
  • Drive successful deployments that accelerate adoption.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer IT leaders and act as the Voice of the Customer, collaborating with Microsoft engineering teams to remove blockers and share insights.
  • Cloud Migration Approaches: Assessment, planning, design, and execution phases; understanding workloads, RPO/RTO, and migration paths (rehost, replatform, rearchitect).
  • Landing Zone Design: Secure, scalable, modular environments; hub‑and‑spoke architecture; platform vs. application landing zones.
  • Connectivity Models: Internal (hub‑spoke) and external (on‑premises to cloud); DRG, VCN attachments, ExpressRoute, VPN types; Azure and other vendor technology mapping.
  • Database Migration: Options for moving to Azure, limitations, and alternative platforms; assessment of customer requirements and available services.
  • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: DR strategies (pilot light, warm standby, active/passive), RPO/RTO definitions, and distinction between availability zones and true DR.
  • Name Resolution: Methods for unifying DNS across on‑premises and cloud, delegation vs. forwarding, and secure handling of service endpoints.
