Job description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in building and maintaining data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring data quality, reliability, security, and scalability on public cloud platform.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines for both streaming and batch data sources.
• Ability to speak in English and Arabic fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Arabic to communicate with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, continuous integration, or delivery.
• Experience in migrating data from on-prem data platforms to cloud.

You will work on data migrations and transformational projects, and with customers to design large-scale data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scaling, and troubleshoot potential platform challenges. In this role, you will be working with Google's strategic Cloud customers, and with the team you will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to design and implement data platforms for enterprise, with robust data streaming and batch pipelines, cloud based technical architectures and data migration approaches that enable business objectives.
• Work with internal specialists, product and engineering teams to package best practices and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies and published assets.
• Advocate for customer needs in order to overcome adoption blockers and drive new feature development based on your field experience.
• Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud based big data and analytics solutions according to complex customer requirements and implementation best practice.
• Travel within EMEA for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
