The Opportunity

Join EY’s Business Development team to drive growth, client satisfaction, and strategic pursuits across key accounts in MENA and Growth Markets. This role is client‑centric, market‑facing, and requires the ability to leverage EY’s global network to deliver solutions that meet complex client needs. You will work closely with service line leaders, Regional Managing Partners, and BD teams to execute go‑to‑market strategies, manage account pipelines, and lead high‑value pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Leadership & Relationship Management: Establish trusted, long‑term relationships with clients, particularly at the "C" level; act as a consultative advisor, identifying client needs and proposing solutions that add measurable value.
  • Business Development & Growth: Drive revenue, sales, and pipeline growth through account planning, opportunity management, and strategic market initiatives. Participate in complex pursuits and lead presentations, negotiations, and proposals.
  • Strategy & Market Input: Collaborate with service line leaders to develop and deploy service line growth strategies, strategic campaigns, and pursuit coverage strategies. Provide insights into market trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement account management excellence using EY’s frameworks, monitor pipeline and trends, and participate in revenue planning processes.
  • Talent Leadership: Coach and mentor junior BD staff and client‑serving professionals to build high‑performing teams.
Skills & Attributes for Success
  • Proven ability to sell complex solutions and services at the "C" level, preferably across large conglomerate companies, Health care, Logistics, Automotive, Telco, Aviation, Consumer retail or in a family business segment.
  • Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
  • Expertise in account management, pipeline development, and opportunity creation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and client‑facing presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, thrive in fast‑paced, multi‑cultural environments, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with formal tendering processes, proposals, and pursuit methodologies.
  • Transforms available data into strategic insights to drive impactful business development decisions.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
  • Graduate or higher degree in business or related field.
  • 10–15+ years of business development experience in professional services or solution‑selling environments.
  • Proven track record of driving growth, managing multiple accounts, and delivering measurable results.
  • Experience in multi‑country environments is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region.
