Job description

To oversee the maintenance of all MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards while managing the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Key Accountability Areas

MEP Systems Maintenance

• Manage and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP systems to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
• Ensure HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operate efficiently and comply with factory and safety standards.
• Oversee the maintenance of HVAC components, including valves, pumps, compressors, and electrical controls.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics for system maintenance.

Documentation and Reporting

• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Provide management with regular reports on system performance, downtime, and any issues that need attention.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions in MEP system maintenance.
• Stay updated on new technologies and techniques to enhance the efficiency and reliability of MEP systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement upgrades or changes to improve system performance.

Role Accountability

• Training subordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale and motivation of subordinates.

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
