Job description

We are a fast-growing healthcare group operating premium multi-specialty medical centers in RIYADH, with a strong focus on dental, cosmetic and plastic services. We are seeking a high-impact Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead network operations, scale our services, and deliver world-class patient outcomes and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Operations & Performance

  • Lead daily operations across all branches, ensuring consistency of clinical pathways, service standards, and patient flow.
  • Own overall center performance: revenue, cost, efficiency, capacity utilization, and productivity.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs (clinical, financial, service, HR), and run weekly/monthly performance reviews.
  • Implement Lean/continuous improvement to reduce waiting time, cancellations, rework, and operational waste.
  • Doctor’s Acquisition and performance.

Clinical Operations Support & Quality

  • Partner with Medical Director(s) to drive high-quality care, standardized protocols, and multidisciplinary coordination (especially bariatric/endoscopy pathways).
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi health regulations and accreditation standards (CBAHI, MOC, SFDA where applicable).
  • Oversee infection control readiness, risk management, incident reporting, and corrective action systems.
  • Maintain audit preparedness and lead external inspection readiness across branches.
  • Own the full patient journey from lead to post-procedure follow-up, ensuring premium service.
  • Develop experience standards, call center/CRM workflows, complaint resolution processes, NPS targets, and loyalty programs.
  • Train frontline teams on service culture and communication.

Growth, Expansion & New Services

  • Translate strategy into executable operational plans for expansion, new branches, and new clinical services.
  • Lead project execution for openings, relocations, renovations, and integration of acquired centers.
  • Evaluate demand, capacity, and specialty mix; deliver business cases and rollout plans.

Revenue Cycle, Cash, and Cost Control

  • Own revenue cycle performance: pricing discipline, insurance contracting, approvals, claims, denials management, collections, and cash acceleration.
  • Improve throughput and profitability per clinic/service line.
  • Build cost optimization programs without compromising quality.
  • Lead recruitment planning with HR, ensuring right staffing models per specialty and branch.
  • Set structure, roles, accountability, incentive schemes, and performance management for all operational teams.
  • Build a culture of ownership, urgency, collaboration, and patient-first mindset.

Supply Chain, Facilities & IT/EMR

  • Oversee procurement, inventory, vendor management, biomedical maintenance, and consumables availability.
  • Ensure facilities safety, equipment uptime, and clinical room readiness.
  • Lead operational digitization, EMR optimization, CRM adoption, dashboards, and automation.

Governance & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly board-level operational reports and executive dashboards.
  • Manage operational risks; propose mitigation and policy updates.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Medical, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years healthcare operations experience, with 5+ years in a senior multi-site leadership role.
  • Proven track record in running profitable medical centers/hospital networks.
  • Deep knowledge of Saudi healthcare environment, insurance/payor systems, and regulatory frameworks (CBAHI, NPHIES, MOC licensing).
  • Strong financial/operational acumen; comfortable owning P&L and cost efficiency.
  • Fluent Arabic and English preferred.
