Foreground is partnering with a fast-scaling Saudi lifestyle and entertainment brand to appoint an emotionally intelligent, data-literate, and creatively bold Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) , based in Riyadh. The company operates at the intersection of retail, hospitality, and digital experience, and is actively expanding its footprint both online and across flagship venues. This appointment is a board-level mandate to build a marketing ecosystem that drives brand equity, customer loyalty, and growth across channels.
Role Purpose
To design and lead a fully integrated marketing function that connects the brand with its evolving audience, translates strategic ambition into creative storytelling, and builds a platform for sustainable customer acquisition and retention across the Kingdom and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the end-to-end marketing strategy, including brand positioning, digital media, campaign planning, customer engagement, and product marketing, aligned with the companys commercial objectives and market expansion plans.
- Build and mentor an internal marketing team across disciplines content, performance marketing, brand partnerships, CRM, design, and social media while overseeing external agencies and production partners.
- Own customer segmentation, persona development, and omnichannel lifecycle management, ensuring tailored communication and personalized experiences at scale.
- Lead campaign development across platforms ATL, BTL, and digital from strategic concept to performance analysis, across launches, collaborations, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty initiatives.
- Shape the companys brand architecture, visual identity, and tone of voice, ensuring coherence across retail environments, digital platforms, activations, and public communications.
- Introduce a performance-driven culture through real-time marketing analytics, channel attribution, and ROI benchmarking using leading marketing platforms and CRM tools.
- Serve as a key member of the executive team, partnering with product, operations, retail, and finance to align customer experience with business strategy and revenue targets.
- Represent the brand in key partnership, media, and industry forums; lead the companys thought leadership and cultural positioning initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in lifestyle, entertainment, consumer brands, or integrated retail environments, with a track record of growing brands in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
- Proven experience launching and scaling marketing operations in fast-growth businesses with high customer visibility and diverse revenue streams.
- Deep expertise in brand strategy, content ecosystems, omnichannel customer engagement, and digital acquisition.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications; Masters degree or global brand experience is preferred.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with the ability to develop culturally relevant creative and strategic messaging.
- Hands-on and collaborative leadership style with a strong command of both strategy and execution.
