Role Description

This is full-time opportunity for one of our clients, on-site role for a Chief Investment Officer, based in Jeddah. The primary role of the CIO is to lead the company's investment strategy and oversee the performance, growth, and optimization of its real estate investment portfolio. The CIO will play a critical role in driving value creation by identifying opportunities, maximizing returns, managing risks, and aligning investment decisions with the organization’s long-term objectives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in real estate investment, land bank optimization, feasibility analysis, and portfolio management, combined with strong leadership and governance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and define the overall investment strategy across real estate assets and land bank portfolios.
• Analyze and evaluate land bank opportunities, including market studies, feasibility assessments, and highest & best use analysis.
• Oversee investment decision-making, including acquisitions, development, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
• Lead financial and commercial evaluations, including ROI, IRR, NPV, and risk analysis.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of existing investment portfolios to maximize long-term value.
• Establish and maintain robust investment governance frameworks, policies, and approval processes.
• Work closely with senior leadership, board members, and key stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives.
• Oversee relationships with external partners such as developers, advisors, consultants, and financial institutions.
• Ensure alignment between investment strategy, market dynamics, and organizational objectives.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or related fields.
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as Chief Investment Officer, Investment Director, or Head of Investments.
• Strong background in real estate investment analysis, land development strategies, and market feasibility studies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-value investment decisions and manage complex portfolios.
• Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
