Position Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to the bank. The CEO will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s sustainable growth, profitability, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the delivery of superior value to shareholders, clients, and employees. This role demands a dynamic leader with extensive banking experience, strong financial acumen, and proven expertise in corporate governance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement the bank’s long‑term strategy in alignment with the Board of Directors’ vision and objectives.
  • Drive sustainable growth, market expansion, and diversification of banking services.
  • Promote innovation and digital transformation across all banking operations.
Operational Management
  • Oversee all day‑to‑day operations of the bank, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high‑quality service delivery.
  • Lead the development and execution of operational plans to meet financial and operational targets.
  • Ensure robust risk management, internal controls, and compliance with banking regulations and corporate governance standards.
Financial Oversight
  • Drive financial performance, including profitability, cost optimization, and capital management.
  • Approve and monitor budgets, financial statements, and business plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank regulations and reporting requirements.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
  • Maintain a strong governance framework in line with local and international regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across all banking activities.
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors, and stakeholders as required.
Stakeholder Management
  • Represent the bank to shareholders, regulators, industry associations, and the public.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, investors, and key industry partners.
  • Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on performance, strategy, and risk.
Human Capital Leadership
  • Promote a high‑performance culture and foster employee engagement, development, and retention.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the executive leadership team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure succession planning for key positions within the bank.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 15–20 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services sector, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or CEO role.
  • Proven track record of leading complex banking operations, achieving financial targets, and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi banking regulations, Shariah‑compliant banking (if applicable), and international banking standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity, strategic thinking, and decision‑making capability in high‑pressure environments.
