About the Company A leading industrial company specializing in the metal and lead industry is seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant with strong expertise in cost accounting, SAP system implementation, and industrial financial operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing a robust accounting system, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive costing system tailored to industrial and production environments.
• Establish and manage the SAP accounting system, including configuration, data migration, and user training.
• Monitor and control production costs, analyze variances, and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax authorities as needed.
• Support management with financial insights, forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure high accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or SOCPA certification preferred).

• Proven experience in SAP (FI/CO modules) and the ability to establish and customize a full accounting system.

• Strong understanding of Saudi accounting standards and taxation laws.
• Excellent command of English (Arabic is a plus).
