The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, expertise in budgeting and financial planning, and a solid understanding of Saudi laws, including Zakat regulations. Familiarity with the Saudi market and experience with SAP or Oracle systems are essential. This role supports strategic business objectives by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Job description

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support strategic business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data, implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and systems for improved efficiency and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional growth and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization within the finance department.
• familiarity with the Saudi market.
• Holder of a Saudi Iqama .
• Solid understanding of Saudi laws, including Zakat regulations.
• Previous experience in a contracting company.
• Knowledge of Saudi Labor Law.
• Experience using SAP or Oracle systems.
• Preferably a resident of Dammam, to avoid relocation delays or family-related transfer issues and Cost as well.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
