Chef de Partie – Italian Pastry

We are seeking a passionate culinary professional to join our team as Chef de Partie, specializing in Italian pastry and kitchen section management. The role requires expertise in baking techniques, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and baking a variety of Italian pastries, breads, and desserts while maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Managing the daily kitchen operations for the pastry section, including inventory, sanitation, and safety compliance.
  • Training and supervising junior staff (Commis, trainees) and fostering a positive, team‑based work environment.
  • Assisting with menu development, recipe creation, and presentation of dishes.
  • Maintaining kitchen cleanliness, adhering to health‑and‑safety regulations, and ensuring strict hygiene standards.
  • Monitoring costs, preparing budget reports, and controlling waste to meet financial targets.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to support high‑volume production and guest service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or graduate qualification in culinary arts or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as Chef de Partie or similar position, with strong pastry and baking background.
