Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with extensive expertise in real estate development and large-scale project management to lead the financial structuring of a newly established real estate development company. Backed by strong strategic alliances, the company is launching a portfolio of high-value real estate projects that require world-class financial leadership and investment strategies.

The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the Board of Directors and CEO, driving financial planning, capital structuring, and investment decisions

to ensure the success of landmark real estate developments with significant local and regional impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial restructuring and establishment of the finance function as a core driver of investment and growth decisions.
• Design and implement financial structures for large-scale real estate projects, including syndicated loans, sukuk, REITs, and strategic investment partnerships.
• Manage strategic relationships with local and international banks and investors, negotiating high-value financing facilities.
• Oversee the establishment of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) for development projects, ensuring optimal capital structuring.
• Provide strategic financial advisory to the Board and CEO on investment, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Supervise financial reporting in compliance with SOCPA/IFRS standards.
• Drive financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management, ensuring sustainability and preventing project delays.
• Partner with the executive team to shape and execute the company’s long-term real estate development strategy.
• Support project management by monitoring costs, evaluating feasibility, and ensuring expected returns.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certifications (CFA, CMA, CPA) are highly preferred.
• 18–20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 7 years as CFO or Senior Finance Executive in major real estate development or investment companies.
• Proven expertise in financing large-scale real estate projects and structuring investment deals.
• Strong knowledge of SOCPA/IFRS standards and compliance.
• Experience in project financial management, contract oversight, and feasibility analysis.
• Established network with banks, investors, and financial institutions in the real estate sector.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems .
