Qualifications

• Certified by the state as a nurse aide.
• Meets the training requirements and successfully completes them.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
• Must have reliable transportation, current driver’s license, and appropriate automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Providing hands-on personal care including baths and hygiene.
• Taking and recording temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Performing simple procedures as ordered.
• Assisting patients in self-administration of medication.
• Reporting on patient’s condition to the nurse or case manager.
