Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia for their supermarket division. Our client is looking for a Category Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for product categories, identify market opportunities, and drive business performance through effective category management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze industry and consumer trends to guide product strategies.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with distributors and wholesalers.
  • Source new suppliers aligned with the company’s category strategy.
  • Assist in setting annual budgets, sales targets, and profit margins.
  • Implement business plans to achieve category performance targets.
  • Administer pricing to meet margin objectives and monitor product performance.
  • Develop long-term growth and exit strategies for products.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with vendors to improve pricing and service quality.
  • Ensure product availability in line with consumer demand.
  • Optimize category visibility and positioning in the market.
  • Track pricing and competition to remain market-relevant.
  • Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand the product range.
  • Take full responsibility for category budget and revenue targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer or Category Manager in FMCG.
